Summary

The use of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training has been used for many years for training athletes to improve muscle hypertrophy without the use of increased loads. However, in recent years, the use of BFR has become more prevalent in research and has now started to cross over into physical therapy rehabilitation. This course is designed to distinguish the use of BFR in physical therapy, precautions and contraindications, and how this may impact rehabilitation moving forward.
